SFFC Appoints Craig Smith and Sian Bagshawe

South Fraser Football Club is extremely happy to announce the appointments of Craig Smith and Sian Bagshawe to the technical staff.
Craig Smith will work alongside technical directors, Mark McQueen and Greg Berry in developing South Fraser's players for Whitecaps FC, Provincial, and National team programs in addition to working in the club's U10-U12 Premier League Academy.
Craig holds a CSA National B coaching license and joins the club having just returned from working in New Zealand with the women's national team prior to their participation in the 2011 Women's Word Cup. Craig also spent 2 very successful years as head coach of the Ottawa Fury Women's team and has just completed a season as part of the coaching staff at Quest University.
"I am very excited to begin work with a club as ambitious as South Fraser FC. The quality of staff, playing concept, and their philosophy toward player development are second to none. I hope my experience will add to the first class environment that already exists".
Sian Bageshaw will head up the club's goalkeeping program and will look to build upon what has always been considered among the best on offer within the lower mainland.
Sian currently holds a Provincial B License and the BCSA goalkeeping license. Sian has just returned from Germany where she worked with the Canadian national team at the 2011 Women's World Cup. During her time with South Fraser, she will continue her work with the Canadian national program, in addition to her goalkeeping role with the Vancouver Whitecaps FC.
